9/14/19 Rebel Scores

What a beautiful Saturday we had for football! Great job to all the teams. Scores from 9/14/19 are below!

1st & 2nd Grade Rebels: 34 - Muskego: 0
We would like to thank the Muskego organization for being great hosts and all the kind words from the coaches and the director of their program. Coach Graham said they are a great organization and him and his Rebel received a lot of compliments this weekend!

3rd & 4th Grade Rebels Grey (Coach Tanner): 12 - Bayview: 19
Our new team showed a lot of heart and improvement Saturday but just fell short. Coach Tanner has the team heading in the right direction.

3rd & 4th grade Rebels Scarlet (Coach Anzalone): 31 - AYFA Angels: 25
This game was a battle until the last drive and was very entertaining. Great job to both teams!

5th Grade Rebel Grey (Coach Bell): 32 - Waterford: 6
Great job Rebels for coming out on top against a very hard team that won the SEYFA Championship last year.

5th Grade Rebels Scarlet (Coach Kasabian): 13 - Kenosha Knights: 6
These Rebels have been working hard to get back to their 2018 form and came out on top to get their first win of the game. The practices and adjustments made really paid off. Good job Rebels!

6th Grade Rebels Grey (Coach Atkinson): BYE Week

6th Grade Rebels Scarlet (Coaches Darge & Cupertino): 47 - Kenosha St. Joe's Lancers: 12
This game had everyone off their seats for the entire first half. After St. Joe's driving the ball down the field for 8 minutes in the first drive, the Rebels were able to stop them before they got in the endzone. The first play of the Rebels offense resulted in a fumble but the team was able to bounce back and stop the Lancers before half. The Rebels received the ball shortly after and scored a touchdown. The Lancers then returned a kick for 6 points putting the game at 6-6. The Lancers then kicked an onside and were able to come away with the ball. Shortly after the teams regrouped at halftime.
Second half of the game the Rebels made some adjustments and came out on top. Birthday boy Anthony L. had a great game with 2 interceptions returned for a touchdown, threw 1 touchdown pass to the fullback and rushed for 4 touchdowns. Such an exciting game and great work by both teams.

7th Grade Rebels: 42 - Stateline Comets: 16
There were a lot of guys who normally do not get to carry the ball on Saturdays, carrying the ball this past Saturday. Nice work by both teams out in Spring Grove, IL.

8th Grade Rebels: 6 - Stateline Comets: 24
The Stateline Comets visited Horlick H.S. and came out on top but Coach Mike and the staff will try and rebound this week with some adjustments at practice. There is a lot of talents for this young team with a lot of the 7th Graders playing up. Next week will be fun to watch.
