Seeking Equipment Manager

We are currently in need of an Equipment Manager for the 2020 Football Season. Details for this position are below. The compensation will be discussed with those interested at the time of the interview. Anyone that is interested in this role is required to submit a letter of interest to our secretary Lisa Fiorita. Job Summary:

The Rebel Youth Football Equipment Manager oversees all equipment used by the organization. This individual’s duties include purchasing, maintenance, repair, inventory, transportation, storage, cleaning, and liquidation. This individual is responsible for providing the proper equipment for the job. This is a paid position with the organization.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Procuring, supervising, and maintain inventories, including all athletic uniform and equipment
  • Oversee the fitting and necessary adjustments needed for uniforms and equipment of team players
  • Supervise laundry and storage maintenance
  • Ensure that uniforms and athletic equipment are clean and well stocked
  • Oversee set-up of equipment for tournaments
  • Inspect and repair damaged equipment, accompany teams on trips, and prepare budget estimates for equipment
 

Requirements:

  • 2+ experience working in a non-profit organization
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Knowledge of the organization’s records and related materials
  • Honesty and integrity held in high esteem
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate
  • Must be able to help on home game days
