10/5/19 Rebel Scores

Great job to all the teams this past weekend! All the teams have progressed so much throughout the season. Playoffs begin October 12th for 3rd&4th Grade, 6th Grade and 8th Grade.

Playoffs begin October 19th for 1st&2nd Grade, 5th grade and 7th Grade.

These next couple weeks are huge with the Championship games being held at Carthage College on 10/26/19. Be sure to get out there and support your teams!

1st & 2nd Grade Rebels: 42 - Stateline Coments: 0

Coach Graham and his 1st year 2nd Grade Rebels played another exciting, high scoring game against the Stateline Comets and came out on top with the final score being 42-0. While they have already solidified a playoff berth, they have 1 more regular season game on 10/12/19.
NEXT GAME: Vs. Union Grove at Horlick H.S. at 9 AM

3rd & 4th Grade Rebels Grey (Coach Tanner): 6 - Muskego (Black): 36
Coach Tanner may not have a "W' yet but he has definitely turned this team around which has a mix of 3rd and 4th grade players. The majority of these kids have never played football before and they have grown so much since he has taken over as head coach. They took on a touch Muskego on Oct. 5th resulting in a 33-6 loss. Next week they get a bye. They will get 2 more games in on the 19th and 26th and will be hungry for their first win.
NEXT GAME: 10/19/19 - TBD

3rd & 4th grade Rebels Scarlet (Coach Anzalone): 13 - Muskego (Red): 20
Last year these 2 teams went 1-1 against one another. Our Rebels beat them on a fun Saturday morning Week 5 last year in a tough, muddy and nail biting matchup. They met again at Union Grove for the 1st & 2nd Grade Championship and just fell short, losing by 1 score. All their hard work has paid off though giving them the 7th seed at their grade level. Next week they will have another tough matchup against Muskego Black in a playoff that if won, can keep their hopes for the championship alive!
NEXT GAME: @ Muskego Black at Muskego H.S. at 10 AM

5th Grade Rebel Grey (Coach Bell): 38 - Kenosha: 6
This 5th Grade team has not slowed down since the start of the season. They traveled to Kenosha and came out on top with a 38-6 lead. They have solidified a playoff berth but can lockdown home field advantage if they win this weekend.
NEXT GAME: @ Union Grove at Union Grove H.S. at 11 A

5th Grade Rebels Scarlet (Coach Kasabian): 0 - Waterford: 18
This was a tough loss for a team that went to the playoffs last year. Coach Dan has had his struggles losing a few kids from last season but his players still try hard for him. Waterford always has good times just like the Horlick Rebels. They will look to bounce back and try for a playoff spot when they play At home to take on the Comets.
NEXT GAME:  vs. Stateline Comets at Horlick H.S. at 1 PM

6th Grade Rebels Grey (Coach Atkinson): 27 - Bayview Redcats: 6
This 1st year team is loaded with talent. They have been fighting injuries for weeks and finally came together for their first win against Bayview. This game was a must win with the victorious team locking in the 8th seed for the playoffs.
NEXT GAME: @ Horlick Scarlet at Horlick H.S. at 11 AM

6th Grade Rebels Scarlet (Coaches Darge & Cupertino): 26 - Westosha: 0
This game was an interesting game. Traveling to Westosha without one of their captains and leaders, this game started off to a slow start with a lot of mental mistakes. At halftime, the scoreboard read 0-0. Finally the offensive line started to work together with that same chemistry they have had all season. Braydon (Boo-Boo) Young started his 1st game at halfback and did a great job blocking and running the ball. 3 other captains fought through injuries that took them out of the game for a little while but the tam worked as 1 unit and came out on top with a 26-0 win.
NEXT GAME: vs. Rebels Grey at Horlick H.S. at 11 AM

7th Grade Rebels: 45 - Waterford: 6
This 7th grade team, filled with a lot of 1st year football players had a strong game out at Waterford. The return of Captain Noah Larsen who made his debut definitely helped. He was finally cleared to play football and came out healthy which is great with playoffs around the corner. They can lock in a playoff berth this weekend if they can beat Union Grove.
NEXT GAME: vs. Union Grove at Horlick H.S. at 3 PM

8th Grade Rebels: 42 - Bayview Redcats:  0
This 8th grade team continues to impress! The majority of this team excluding 3 players that returned from last year came away with back to back wins the past few weekends. This game was not just a game but a game worth winning. They have now made the playoffs and will continue to keep up the momentum.
NEXT GAME: @ Christian Life School at Christian Life Kenosha at 1 PM
